Here goes!

Ok...so this was my first season of triathlon. Didn't do too shabby (5 races, a few top ten finishes), and I had a lot of fun. Raised $6000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, did a 1/2 ironman. All in all, not too bad a year.

So what's next? Maybe some time off, a little rest, less than 6 hours of training a week. Hmmm.... Sounds nice. Nah.... I'll sign up for an IronMan! Woo hoo!!

Seriously....you all already knew I was a little bit off. This pretty much confirms it, huh??

I have joined IronTeam, a part of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's endurance training program. I will be racing at IronMan Coeur d'Alene on June 24th, 2007! AND-I'll be raising funds once again for the ongoing fight against blood cancers. All in all, a massive undertaking!

Well, now comes the fun part....you get to follow me there! I'll be checking in weekly with you (at the very least) to keep you abreast of my journey. You'll get it all! For all of you on the East Coast in a snow drift, you'll hear about my "freezing cold" ride in 50 degree weather in the middle of January. Ha Ha! No, really.....

I hope you all will check in with me and see how I'm doing. It should be an interesting trip to say the least!
